LEADING STORY

The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission today unveiled the first six permanent, state-of-the-art exhibits for visitors at Hetch Hetchy Reservoir in Yosemite National Park in the Sierra Nevada. The exhibits highlight the rich history of the enormous undertaking to build the Hetch Hetchy Water and Power System, as well as the many wonderful recreational opportunities in the Hetch Hetchy watershed.

On April 24, 2007, the Rates Fairness Board, led by Vice-Chair Howard Ash, presented the board's report to the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission members . The report details the RFB's recommendations and comments on the major aspect of the SFPUC's proposed water and sewer rates for Fiscal Year 2007-2008 and FY 2008-2009 to be found in the enclosed attachment.    Read more
