Wet weather seriously interrupted the grading of the Sunset Reservoir Slope from the first of the year through early spring.  The rain created safety concerns limiting crews from working on the wet, slippery slopes with heavy equipment.  As a result, the contractor could not achieve the required level of compaction due to the high water content.  Crews are now back at work.  The following outlines broadly the landscape and infrastructure activities needed to restore the slope and open it to public access.     Read more
