The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission Power Enterprise invites applications for 5207 Associate Electrical Engineer. The annual salary is 87,178.00 - $105,950.00/year.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
This position will be responsible for designing electric distribution systems for overhead and underground installations operating on 12 kV; prepare engineering and construction cost estimates for new electric service infrastructures for primary and secondary service installations for retail loads; develop design schemes for new capacity and underground conversion projects; analyze and recommend protective device settings; prepare and review distribution system construction standards; perform engineering analyses; prepare bid documents, material procurement and construction documents; and perform project planning and construction management duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Three (3) years verifiable professional electrical engineering experience preferably in the design of electric distribution systems and services, which includes two (2) years experience equivalent to the City & County of San Francisco Class 5203 Assistant Engineer or higher; AND
2. Possession of a current Certificate of Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California in electrical engineering. (Submit copy with application).
